Los FRIDAYS (Alex Friday & Kike Friday)

... sind zwei Brüder aus Berlin, die sich seit vielen Jahren zwischen Clubkultur, Community-Arbeit und kreativer Zusammenarbeit bewegen. Geprägt von ihren lateinamerikanischen Wurzeln verbinden sie elektronische Sounds mit einem starken Fokus auf Gemeinschaft, kulturellen Austausch und Dancefloor-Energie.
Musikalisch bewegen sich die FRIDAYS zwischen House, groove-orientierten Clubsounds und rhythmischen Einflüssen aus Lateinamerika. Ihre Sets entstehen intuitiv aus dem Moment heraus — warm, treibend und immer darauf ausgelegt, Menschen zusammenzubringen und Räume mit Energie zu füllen.
Neben ihrer Arbeit als DJs und Produzenten sind beide tief in der Berliner Kulturszene verwurzelt. Alex ist seit Jahren als DJ und Produzent in Berliner Clubs und darüber hinaus aktiv, während Kike zahlreiche Kollektive und Community-Projekte organisatorisch und konzeptionell begleitet hat. Gemeinsam betreiben sie ein Studio im Art House Rising — einem Ort für kreative Zusammenarbeit und Austausch zwischen jungen Künstler verschiedenster Disziplinen.
Seit sie denken können, sind die FRIDAYS Teil der Casa Latinoamericana und ihrer Community. Neben der Organisation kultureller Veranstaltungen engagieren sie sich dort besonders für Räume, in denen junge Menschen mit lateinamerikanischem Hintergrund kreativ zusammenkommen, sich austauschen und eigene Projekte entwickeln können. Umso bedeutungsvoller ist es für sie, an diesem Ort und im Rahmen der Fête de la Musique ihre kulturellen Wurzeln mit der elektronischen Musikszene Berlins zu verbinden.

... son dos hermanos de Berlín que se mueven desde hace años entre la cultura club, el trabajo comunitario y la colaboración creativa. Marcados por sus raíces latinoamericanas, conectan sonidos electrónicos con una fuerte visión de comunidad, intercambio cultural y energía en la pista de baile.
Musicalmente, THE FRIDAYS se mueven entre house, grooves electrónicos y ritmos influenciados por sonidos latinoamericanos. Sus sets nacen intuitivamente del momento — cálidos, envolventes y siempre pensados para conectar personas y llenar el espacio de energía.
Además de su trabajo como DJs y productores, ambos están profundamente conectados con la escena cultural berlinesa. Alex lleva años activo como DJ y productor en clubes de Berlín y otras ciudades, mientras que Kike ha trabajado detrás de muchos proyectos colectivos y comunitarios desde lo organizativo y conceptual. Juntos gestionan un estudio en Art House Rising, un espacio emergente de intercambio y colaboración entre jóvenes creativxs de distintas disciplinas.
Desde que tienen memoria, THE FRIDAYS forman parte de Casa Latinoamericana y de su comunidad. Además de organizar eventos culturales, se involucran especialmente en crear espacios donde jóvenes con raíces latinoamericanas puedan encontrarse, intercambiar ideas y desarrollar proyectos propios. Por eso, tiene un significado muy especial para ellos unir sus raíces culturales con la escena electrónica de Berlín en este espacio y en el marco de la Fête de la Musique.

... are two brothers from Berlin who have been moving between club culture, community work and creative collaboration for many years. Shaped by their Latin American roots, they connect electronic sounds with a strong focus on community, cultural exchange and dancefloor energy.
Musically, THE FRIDAYS move between house, groove-driven club sounds and rhythmic influences from Latin America. Their sets are built intuitively in the moment — warm, driving and always centered around bringing people together and filling spaces with energy.
Beyond their work as DJs and producers, both are deeply rooted in Berlin’s cultural landscape. Alex has been active for years as a DJ and producer in clubs across Berlin and beyond, while Kike has supported various collectives and community projects through organizational and conceptual work behind the scenes. Together they run a studio at Art House Rising, an emerging creative space focused on collaboration and exchange between young artists from different disciplines.
THE FRIDAYS have been part of Casa Latinoamericana and its community for as long as they can remember. Alongside organizing cultural events, they are especially committed to creating spaces where young people with Latin American roots can connect, exchange ideas and develop their own creative projects. That is why it feels especially meaningful for them to bring together their cultural roots and their deep connection to Berlin’s electronic music scene at this space and during Fête de la Musique.
