Lübecker Museumsnacht: „Welche Farbe hat der Tod?“

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, the Lübeck Museum Night will take place. The columbarium DIE EICHE is taking part for the first time.In cooperation with the Lübeck Cultures of the World Collection (formerly Völkerkundemuseum), the pop-up exhibition "A world tour in the footsteps of death" has been created, to which all those interested in art are cordially invited. Large-format color field paintings by artist Thomas Kesseler and a reading by Steffen Kubach from Theater Lübeck round off the night.

18:00 to 23:00 On the hour, from 18:00 to 23:00, the staff of the columbarium will give a short introduction to the history and architecture of the urn cemetery DIE EICHE.

6:30 pm to 11:30 pm Every half hour, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Dr. Lars Frühsorge and Olaf Günther will guide visitors through the pop-up exhibition of the Collection of Cultures.
