Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys are one of the most interesting bands around these days. The Berlin-based art-pop-ambient-noise band led by South African-born artist Lucy Kruger creates musical worlds full of atmosphere and intensity. With her "Tapes" album trilogy from 2020 to 2022, she caused a sensation among critics, the press and music lovers. Across three albums, she takes us on a journey through very personal, intimate thoughts and experiences full of deep abysses and the brightest rays of light at the far end of the horizon. With "Heaving" (2023), she consistently continued the path she had taken on the previous albums, but also ventured more and more into rougher waters, sometimes showing her more extroverted side, countered by a collection of musical sketches created during the coronavirus lockdown and released in 2024 under the title "A Human Home".

On stage and in the studio, she is supported by her outstanding live band, consisting of Liú Mottes (guitar), Andreas Bonkrowski (bass) and Gidon Carmel (drums) as well as Jean-Louise Parker (viola). Together they are able to perform intense and ecstatically floating live sets that deeply touch the soul and know how to carry you away. You could already get an impression of this several times in Dresden - for example at Scheune Abriss 2021, Sound Of Bronkow Festival 2022 and 2025. In addition, the band has been on the road incessantly, playing renowned festivals such as Grauzone, Roadburn, Reeperbahn Festival, Fusion, Maifeld Derby, WGT Leipzig, Immergut or Left Of The Dial, but also club shows all over Europe and South Africa. Lucy is an ambassador for the Keychange initiative for gender equality in the music business and the band won the Europavox Spotlight Award, allowing them to perform at all seven Europavox festivals.

In early 2026, the band will release their seventh studio album entitled "Pale Bloom". The eleven songs to be found on it are the essence of a long journey of writing, recording and performing, and resemble a sparkling and emotional sound emulsion that enlivens the listener's body, like an awakened desire that suddenly becomes reality. In the spring, she will present this work live on local stages with the full band and suck you into her musical cosmos. Just let it happen and become part of an unforgettable experience!
