Lucy van Kuhl "Auf den zweiten Blick"

In love at second sight. Enthusiastic at second glance. Compassionate at second glance. Disappointed at second glance. Many people, moments and emotions are not properly perceived the first time. In her new program "At Second Glance", Lucy van Kuhl empathetically sings about and comments on love, old age, people who are hardly noticed in our society, people who are (unfortunately) noticed far too much, situations that you have gotten yourself into and from which it is difficult to get out of. And she asks herself the question "When was the last time I did something for the first time?", because it is also worth taking a second, third and sixth look at our life routines. The first look is the intuitive one, the second look can be the special one.

Lucy van Kuhl reaches her audience through her natural and authentic manner. You find yourself in her songs, in the little pitfalls of everyday life, which she sings about ironically, but also in her honest, quiet chansons.

LUCY VAN KUHL is the winner of the "ScharfrichterBeil 2019" (jury and audience award), the "Stuttgarter Besens 2021" (audience award) and - most recently - the "Schwäbischer Kabarettpreis 2022".
