Ludwig Wright - Live in Concert

Ludwig Wright is a British-German songwriter, poet and performer who harmonizes rock 'n' roll and folk with sing-along melodies. Musically, he is the child of Elvis Presley and Joni Mitchell. He therefore combines stage presence and a charming smile with a clear, strong voice and fingerpicking skills. Ludwig Wright crosses genre boundaries, sings in English and has played street shows and over 200 concerts across Europe, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and made a brilliant debut at the Rudolstadt Festival 2023.

Ludwig Wright's third album "Turn of Tides or Where the Waves Come From" was released in August 2023, which Schall Magazin described as a "colorful kaleidoscope of ear-catching song pearls" and was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. The album is a collection of stories with the sea as a backdrop. The musician says: "Oceans have always been places of longing for me." Ludwig Wright, who lives in Berlin and has a British father and a German mother, talks about the annual visits to his grandfather in Devon, southwest England: "We used to sit on the cliff there for hours and listen to the surf. Now these memories have flowed into the album." For the recordings, he was able to win over producer Micki Meuser, who has already worked with greats such as Ina Deter, Silly and Die Ärzte. Ludwig Wright recently wrote and sang a song for the current film adaptation of Erich Kästner's novel "The Flying Classroom" together with film composer Freya Arde.
