You can't lie - we learn that early on. But doesn't everyone lie sometimes or at least fib a little? And what about a white lie?

Of course, honesty is important in every relationship. This is true in friendships, relationships and especially between parents and children. However, every person and every family certainly has secrets.

Small secrets, such as secretly playing on the computer or reading under the covers at night - no problem. But then there are the big secrets: Grandpa drinks too much beer - but nobody talks about it. Or: Mom cheated on Dad with a woman - but that should also remain a secret. However, doesn't everything always come out in the end anyway? Wouldn't it be better to talk openly and honestly about everything?

On the other hand, sometimes it can be nice and bonding to keep a secret together. And a white lie that protects another person is even important.

Today we're talking about lies and family secrets, looking at what lies do to us and how they make us feel - and we'll try to be completely honest, we promise!
