Sit down, take a deep breath, and still find no peace. Wars, climate change, the shift to the right, social division, inflation… and then there’s that damn chair.

Nothing feels the same as it used to. No stability. Just this creeping feeling that control is slipping away—that your own life is slipping through your fingers like sand. 

“Entglitten” captures this feeling—and transforms it into an evening full of humor, artistry, and surprising lightness. With one of the simplest everyday objects at its center: the chair. But this chair is different. It resists, disappears, reappears, contradicts, wobbles, plays along—and, through elaborately produced animations and mysterious tricks, becomes a living counterpart, an adversary, a mirror. 

Slapstick meets moments of magic. Surprising acrobatics meet poetic imagery. An enchanting evening of theater unfolds—tragicomic, intense, light, and yet touching—telling the story of losing hope… and of how to find it again.

Lukas Aue isthe winner of the 2026 Baden-Württemberg Small Arts Award! The award citation reads:Artist Lukas Aue from Bad Herrenalb looks back on a stage career spanning over 20 years in the fields of theater, variety, opera, and entertainment. Without words, but with a mix of acrobatics, clowning, juggling, and acting, he tells his touching stories. “In doing so, he not only uses his expressive body but also plays masterfully with objects, light, and shadow, incorporating elements of slapstick to create aesthetic images and moments full of poetry,” the jury praised.
