In his mid-30s, Lukas finds himself in the midst of what is arguably one of the most absurd phases of life: officially an adult, but inwardly still a long way from feeling like one. While his friends are building houses and starting families, he’s more likely to wonder whether a portafilter espresso machine or a road bike might already be the first signs of a midlife crisis. Caught between growing up and staying young, he explores the question:At what point are you actually really an adult—and do you even have to be one?

His comedy thrives on what’s happening right here and now. Lukas combines sharp observations of everyday life with a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor, spontaneous jokes, and improvised interactions with the audience.
