The LuLa Brush Friends are an open meeting place for painting miniature figures ("miniature painting"), building playing fields ("terrain building") and everything that goes with it.
We meet once a month, on the 3rd Sunday of each month, from 11 am until probably 6 pm.
If you are interested, please come along with your own materials. Registration is not necessary.
To get to know miniature painting, you can also get paints, brushes and a sample figure from us on your first visit.
Also available on site: Electricity, light, internet, drinks and simple mats to protect the tables.
Food can be brought along or ordered on site via a delivery service / from a nearby snack bar.
What is our hobby about?
Miniature painting and terrain building is a creative art form to embellish and personalize figures of various board games ("tabletop games"). The figures are made of plastic, resin or metal and are often bought ready-made or 3D-printed. They are trimmed, glued, primed, painted and varnished in many steps.
The terrain is built from various materials such as modeling compounds, polystyrene, wood and paper. This is where the hobby overlaps strongly with model making.
