Lüneburger Kneipentour - für alle 40up
In the organizer's words:
Note: Tickets for the tour on September 19 can be purchased no later than Sunday, September 13.
The Lüneburg Pub Crawl—for everyone 40 and up
Lüneburg has the second-highest density of pubs in Europe!
Ever since the Middle Ages, residents and visitors alike have been gathering in our cozy taverns to eat, drink, and chat. On our pub crawl, you’ll get to know Lüneburg’s legendary taverns and pubs. We’ll stop at four pubs and share interesting facts about the art of brewing, as well as anecdotes from both Lüneburg’s recent and distant history, giving you the chance to experience the pub scene firsthand. In addition to beer and a regional herbal schnapps, you’ll be served various pizza slices to snack on.
- Meeting point: Alter Kran in the harbor on the Ilmenau
- End point: Heiligengeiststr.
- Start: 6:00 p.m.
- Duration: approx. 2 hours
- Tasting: 3 different beers + 1 herbal schnapps + pizza slices
Advance ticket sales for these tours close one week before the event date!
So be sure to book as early as possible.
You’re welcome to stay at the pub after the tour—that way, you can grab a bite to eat or just wind down the evening together.
Please note the fine print for this tour:
- To ensure a harmonious experience for the group: Participation is limited to those aged 40 and older*
- Please note the registration deadline! If fewer than 10 registrations have been received by the end of the advance booking period, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. You’ll be notified in a timely manner via the email address used for booking whether the tour will take place. If it doesn’t take place, you’ll, of course, receive a full refund of the ticket price.
- Of course, you can also order non-alcoholic beer or soft drinks (e.g., Coke).
- The pizza is also available in a vegetarian version.
- It’s best to leave your dogs at home for this tour.
We recommend arriving at the meeting point about 10 minutes before the tour starts. Please have your ticket ready (on your smartphone or printed out). The tour takes you through cobblestone streets, so we recommend wearing sturdy shoes. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Please also check out the FAQs on our website.
*If you’re in your late 30s, we’ll turn a blind eye and let you join anyway.
