In the organizer's words:

In the Great Hall of the Gewandhaus, the Leipzig University Orchestra presents a challenging program together with the MDR Radio Choir. Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 3 and William Walton's oratorio Belshazzar's Feast will be performed.

Under the direction of Daniel Seonggeun Kim , romantic expansiveness meets powerful choral scenes and orchestral color. The MDR Radio Choir will be rehearsed by Clement Michelot, with Anton Haupt taking on the demanding baritone role. The ensembles will perform together for the first time on the occasion of the conductor's concert exam.
