Rhyming and drawing workshop with Nele Palmtag on her roaring postcard "Listen up!"

A lively street scene with lots of details: What is the man with the shaggy beard shouting on the street? "You can go and get chopped!" Yes, you heard right ... or did you? Because no one on the street is actually sure what the man in the checked shirt was really shouting. Does he want to lie naked on the grass? Can he lift the heavy bag? The hairdresser thinks to herself: "Of course he can sweep through here." The jogging group, on the other hand, is convinced he won't give up now! Or does he have to go to Norway really quickly? Everyone understands something different. Misunderstandings are just as inevitable as new, great ideas.

Nele Palmtag presents the "Hört mal!" picture book and roar-mail leporello, plays, speculates, rhymes, draws and creates new silent-roar-mail variations together with the children - or even a joint work? Chance and the joy of inventing and drawing help.

The book "Listen! Brülle-Post-Leporello" (Kunstanstifter) in a great accordion format has been nominated for the 2026 German Youth Literature Prize in the picture book category. The book was designed and illustrated by Nele Palmtag, with texts by Rike Drust.
