The Museum of European Cultures invites you to its successful exhibition "ALL HANDS ON: Weaving" for the last time. A varied hands-on program awaits visitors of all ages: weave something yourself and look at the hands of a master basket maker, be guided through the exhibition, bake braids and listen to fairy tales.
Program

Wickerwork | Guided tour
Braiding is a craft practiced all over the world that has not yet been mastered by any machine. The interactive exhibition combines experience, knowledge, innovation and stories about braiding. Who braids? With what? Why? The tour traces the development of a craft that is closely linked to issues such as economic growth, globalization and social injustice. A special highlight is the walk-in "Braided Garden" by artist Olaf Holzapfel.
