Mahmood describes his music as "Morrocan pop". With his mix of pop, R'n'B and hip-hop, he is extremely successful in Italy. The singer-songwriter has won the Sanremo Festival twice, securing his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 and 2022.
To date, Mahmood has collected 28 platinum records and 7 gold records in Italy, 6 times platinum and 3 times gold abroad and a total of 2.5 billion streams. "Brividi" was the most successful debut ever on Spotify, reaching #5 on Top Songs Debut Global and is still the most streamed track in a day on Spotify in Italy. In June 2021, he released his second, highly anticipated album "Ghettolimpo" and the subsequent tour across Europe was sold out almost everywhere.
In April 2024, Mahmood is coming to Germany for three exclusive concerts, one of them in Stuttgart, on 18.04.2024 at Wizemann!
