During Europe Week, we are celebrating the May Festival with dance workshops and concerts: the musicians of the Janusz Prusinowski Kompania from Warsaw are mazurka virtuosos: they interpret the central elements of traditional folk music from the villages in central Poland, reminiscent of Chopin's music - and stand for a love of improvisation as in blues and jazz. Their characteristic sound makes them an avant-garde band, as they combine the archaic with the contemporary.

The German-French Breton band Soniou An Norzh performs at dance events from Berlin to Riga with Breton suites and bal-folk on acoustic instruments to the driving rhythm of hurdy-gurdy and guitar. They are guests at the Hamburg Europe Week with a dance workshop and concert. Who will last longer - the musicians or the dancers?
