Maiorano combine influences from soul and funk with nostalgic grooves and a pronounced pop affinity - warm, melancholic and unconventionally charming.led by Italian-born singer and guitarist Alex Maiorano, the band consists of Alessio D'Alessandro (drums), Nicola Battistelli (saxophone/keys), Mauro Martinez (bass/guitar) and Emiliano Salvatore (guitar).

The sound is characterized by Alex's warm, restrained vocals, clear, strongly reverberated guitars, a precisely recorded rhythm section and subtle saxophone lines. The Berlin-based band has built a strong local reputation, toured selectively throughout Europe - including with Say She She and Bobby Oroza - and has supported numerous international acts.

With their third album "Café Dreams", they take their blend of funk, soul and dreamy dream pop to a new level.
