On May 13, 2026, the evening before Ascension Day, the whole of Bensheim will be transformed into a sea of music and light - the city center will become a stage.

The legendary "Roure Schdrisch" will guide visitors unerringly from location to location. Look forward to extraordinary venues, musical diversity and an urban festival atmosphere.

For over 23 years, MaiWay has been attracting thousands of guests to Bensheim's city center every year, which is transformed into a huge live stage on this special evening. Vibrant, urban and multi-faceted. From pubs and cafés to churches, the Park Theatre, cultural centers and the kick-off in the vineyards - the variety of venues makes MaiWay a unique experience.

In a relaxed atmosphere, the city center becomes the scene address for music lovers from the region and beyond. Musically, no genre remains untouched: Rock, jazz, pop, Latin, soul, reggae, funk, house beats - and even classical music. The line-up offers something for every taste.

Another highlight: artistic light installations and the creative re-staging of urban spaces show Bensheim in a completely new light - and invite you to experience the city from a different perspective.
