Every year from the second Friday in May, Osnabrück's city center is transformed into an open-air stage: May Week, one of the largest city festivals in the northwest, attracts around 600,000 visitors to the City of Peace. For ten days, the festival offers a varied program on several stages and delights with musical and cultural highlights that enliven the city center. The May Week is also a culinary experience - from fresh May punch with strawberries to cheese grilled with bacon. The next May Week will take place from May 9 - 18, 2025.
