The Guadeloupe-born high-soul queen is coming to Hanover with Grammy glory and a rousing blend of R&B, jazz and hip-hop. Many know her from her rousing support gig at the last Snarky Puppy concert in the Capitol. She also collaborated with the latter band on the Grammy-winning album "Family Dinner". Now she is back on the road with her solo project and is bringing her new album "Higher" to the Jazz Club, a prime example of Afro-futuristic soul. It embodies energetic groove with influences from R&B, soul, hip-hop, funk and jazz, occasionally interrupted by French rap parts. Malika Tirolien takes her audience on a psychedelic trip that moves from emotionally charged tension to balanced tranquillity.
