Junge Inselbühne presents: MAMLOCK
In the organizer's words:
What does it mean to be made an outsider? How courageous are we when others are marginalized and discriminated against? The youth project MAMLOCK explores these questions.
Young people from Potsdam and the surrounding area are adapting Friedrich Wolf’s 1933 play “Professor Mamlock” into a contemporary production. The production brings this historical play about National Socialism into the present day and retells it for a contemporary audience with plenty of music and dance, energy, and theatrical wit.
The project is funded by the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenstiftung in collaboration with the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse.
Directed by: Marita Erxleben and Isabel Stahl
