In the organizer's words:
The Kulturkirche Liebfrauen was built in the late 1950s and partially converted into a cultural center in 2011. It is a striking symbol of Duisburg's changing social and industrial history. The participants presented here invite you to explore the architecture, atmosphere and multi-layered facets of the building with video works, installations and sound - and to think about how such spaces can be reopened.
