The German organic potato Marabel and the Peruvian Huayro meet in a field. Their chance encounter and the dispute over who is the "better" potato leads to a playful search for common roots.
Our German-Peruvian fairy tale conveys knowledge about biodiversity, global connections and cultural diversity in a humorous and sensual way. It is about being a stranger and belonging and about how to counter prejudices.
