Why do we no longer see democracy as a common task?

Social division does not begin on the right fringe, but in our midst. And this center is characterized by existential fears and anger at the government. However, if the parties continue to govern without taking into account the reality of people's lives, using populist narratives and blaming minorities with a migration background for problems affecting society as a whole, this endangers democracy from within. As a politician and representative of a post-migrant generation, Marcel Hopp brings a new perspective to the debate on the shift to the right and the threat to democracy.
