Hinz and Kunz

Fairytale heroes make dreams come true and immortalize themselves in them. But does anyone remember the second man on the moon? We know: The firstborn inherited the mill, the second the donkey, but the third got the booted cat... and in the end the whole kingdom. But what happened to the guy with the donkey? What happened to the many runners-up in all the fairy tales? Exactly: they were simply forgotten! And yet they are the salt in the fairytale soup. The stirrup holders for the later heroes. After all, it was them, the eternal runners-up, who brought the famous third-placed heroes, the lucky knights, the Sunday children and the winners of history to their starting positions in the first place!

Enough! This is no longer acceptable! In this rediscovered fairy tale, author and director Jan Zimmermann gives the forgotten runners-up a big stage and asks the audience: aren't we all a bit runners-up? Where is our happy ending then? A fairy tale for all of us who didn't become famous, millionaires or both.

Little Red Riding Hood

What a pretty girl, all walking innocence, what could possibly go wrong... Well, we were told to remove this fairy tale from the children's program: Upset parents had too much to explain to their charges afterwards. Reading it aloud is quite edifying. What you think about it remains private. But if you read it out verbatim, it becomes explosive. Because this wolf really only has one thing on his mind: ... - Right, the grandmother, what did you think? And how does he devour her in bed? That's right: with a single bite, we like to play it for you. No one, not even the audience, leaves this fairy tale as virginal as they came in. Let yourself be tempted by Little Red Riding Hood, go astray and discover the wolf within you!
