Marisa Monte is one of Brazil's most outstanding musicians and a fascinating personality in the world of music. Born in Rio de Janeiro on July 1, 1967, she has constantly pushed the boundaries of Brazilian music throughout her career, exploring a wide range of styles, from traditional samba and bossa nova to contemporary pop and experimental music.

Her debut album "Marisa Monte" from 1989 brought her immediately into the limelight and established her as one of the most influential voices of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). Since then, she has released a series of successful albums, including "Mais" (1991), "Memórias, Crônicas e Declarações de Amor" (2000) and "Infinito Particular" (2006), all of which have been acclaimed by critics and fans alike.

Monte's musical style is characterized by her unique voice, her melodic sophistication and her ability to combine different musical influences. She is known for her powerful stage presence and captivating live performances that have thrilled audiences worldwide.

In addition to her career as a solo artist, Marisa Monte has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso and Carlinhos Brown, and has made a name for herself as a producer and composer.

Marisa Monte is recognized as one of the greatest Brazilian singers of all time, having released one successful album after another. A 4-time Latin Grammy winner, her music combines samba, pop, jazz and soul and is characterized by her exquisite voice. Two of her albums ("MM" and "Verde, Anil, Amarelo, Cor-de-Rosa e Carvão") are on the list of the 100 best albums in Brazilian music.

Hits such as "Ainda Bem", "Já sei Namorar", "Amor I Love You" and "Velha Infância" are included in the setlist of their shows. The repertoire highlights important moments in the singer-songwriter's career, which spans more than three decades.
