Having long outgrown neoclassical music, he has turned to electronic music for years. With an ear to the soundtrack, symphonic forms that are broken by synthesis and held together by improvisation: Martin Kohlstedt is one of the global spearheads of artists who manage to find a common form for influences from different worlds and create a living body from them - as a multidimensional film soundtrack, immersive album experience: or spectacular concert.
For the first time in his career, Martin Kohlstedt is now playing unseated club concerts. As an exception to the rule, as an event. In selected clubs, with limited capacity, with a lot of pressure and: with special accompaniment.
Aline Patschke has been studying percussion at HMT Leipzig since 2020. She writes her own music and plays in various band and solo projects. The multi-instrumentalist works at the interface of music, theater and performance. Her openness to experimentation and transdisciplinary work make Aline Patschke not only one of the most exciting percussionists of her generation, but also the ideal interlocutor on stage for Martin Kohlstedt's modular improvisations.
