With the fourth edition of "Hammond Night", the sought-after Stuttgart keyboard specialist once again invites you to an atmospheric concert at BIX. When the old tubes of the organ glow and the Leslie speaker spins, hot grooves will once again be celebrated and new sound worlds created.

Together with his top-class specialists Alexander Sandi Kuhn on saxophone, Uli Röser on trombone, Dirk Blümlein on bass and Martin Grünenwald on drums, the Saturday Night Quintet plays the musical passports with lots of positive vibes, earthy grooves, passion, wit and charm - come in and feel the good vibes.

Martin Meixner is a team player. It's not his fault that his playing attracts attention - he can simply do too much to avoid it. This musician does not remain on the surface of the effects. Just roaring away at the keys is not enough for him. So he goes deeper, and when he plays, the instrument becomes an organism: he coaxes sounds out of it that otherwise only a stethoscope can extract from the entrails of wild animals.
