MASAA - these are four musicians who praise the evening when people come together and meet each other, sharing intensively about the day - the meaning of the Lebanese band name. And they do this with a kind of deep musical conviction of closeness, curiosity and togetherness. The intensity that the ensemble creates in its music is so tangible and all-encompassing that its touch makes you believe again that music can move the world. With an open mind and at the highest musical level, MASAA creates songs that reveal how complex and at the same time approachable our togetherness is. In 2021, her IRADE album was awarded the German Jazz Prize in the "Vocal Album of the Year" category.

The latest album BEIT (German: Haus, Heim) manifests the musical depth of the band, their unique sound language and the creative will of all those involved. The title track alone is like a breathtaking rollercoaster ride through emotions and subtle musical changes. Songs with tempo and drive create clever contrasts to slow pieces whose intensity results from determined reduction.
