Masons Arms combine the authentic reggae sound of the 60s with German lyrics, making them unique in the international reggae scene. The band from Cologne confidently serves up a classic boss reggae sound with a grooving rhythm section and dirty Hammond organ.
In January 2023, Masons Arms released 'Lass los', a song with a positive vibe for living in the here and now. It is the first taste of an upcoming album that the band is currently working on. Masons Arms prove once again that their German lyrics always hit exactly where they should: straight to the heart and without kitsch, or straight ahead and without compromise against racism. Masons Arms have been part of the Protest Sounds network of the youth initiative "Kein Bock auf Nazis" for two years and continue to set an example for peaceful coexistence in a colorful country.
Both their latest album "Von vorn" and their live shows have been delighting audiences in Germany, the Netherlands, France and England for many years. A show is only ever over when the last member of the audience sings along to "Heute ist es wunderbar".
