Metalmorphosis - Tour 2026
Presented by Rock Hard & Musix
In 2002, MASTERPLAN was founded by Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch, who had previously split from Helloween. This new band quickly developed into a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene: the debut album "Masterplan" caused quite a stir in early 2003. In the following ten years, four more highly acclaimed studio albums were released.
When MASTERPLAN was founded in 2002, the band was immediately regarded as the new sensation in melodic metal. The two ex-Helloween members Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch quickly got together with exceptional singer Jorn Lande. The line-up was completed by Axel Mackenrott (keyboards) and Jan S. Eckert (bass) - a real supergroup was born.
The debut album "Masterplan" hit like a bomb in 2003: the band achieved chart positions throughout Europe and built up a large international fan base in a very short time. This was followed by a European tour with Hammerfall. The second album "Aeronautics" was released in January 2005 and continued on this path. MASTERPLAN played as headliners for the first time as part of the "Flying Aces Tour". However, the third album "MK II" (2007) heralded changes - singer Jorn Lande and drummer Uli Kusch left the band.
The band returned in 2024 and toured Europe together with FIREWIND - their first indoor tour in ten years. They presented the new single "Rise Again" from the long-awaited studio album "Metalmorphosis", which will be released by Frontiers in January 2026. The first video single will be released in November 2025.
