Material im Dialog. Abendliches Kunstatelier für Erwachsene

This evening, the Fröbel Fantasy Lab Berlin is opening its world of materials exclusively to adults. The studio becomes an open space for you to experiment, combine, and create on your own.

Scraps of wood, paper, wire, transparent elements, and found objects invite you to look at materials in a new light, transform them, and combine them. What may seem unremarkable at first glance can take on a whole new meaning through the creative process.

And there’s more to discover than just new materials: Works in progress and completed pieces can also be picked up, further developed, and integrated into your own creative process—the traces left by others thus become your own source of inspiration.

Art educator Jessica Kewitsch will guide the evening with brief prompts that encourage close observation, experimentation, and a shift in perspective. Each person can develop their own process—calmly and with focus, playfully and spontaneously, or through interaction with others.

The focus is not on a predetermined outcome, but on engaging with the materials, with the traces left by others, and with one’s own ideas.

No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
