Frau Sportman - aka Sabine Worthmann - formerly a St Pauli native, will be resurfacing from the depths of the radio play world and, together with bass violin, EFX, toys, will be back with the Düsseldorf/Berlin formation COO !

COO is what happens when four musical free spirits collide and elevate the moment to art. The Berlin quartet - Kai Winter (saxophone), Peter Czekay (trumpet), Sabine Worthmann aka Frau Sportmann (double bass, electronics) and Sanjuru aka Jonathan Delazer (drums) - lives and breathes free improvisation.

As an instant composing ensemble, COO draw on the diversity of their roots, which range from jazz and electronics to avant-garde. The result: sonic adventures that not only transcend genres, but also dissolve them. They are one of the most exciting voices of the Berlin jazz avant-garde .

They don't play here - they reinvent.
