Dear jazz fans,

on Tuesday, 27.05 and 20 o'clock in the Mathilde Bar, Ottensen

we are very excited to invite you to not one, but two concerts!

There will be a parade of fantastic young talent, some familiar but also new faces and completely new sounds!

howtokope. paints the picture of warm summer nights on the Bosphorus and floats on a sound cloud of groovy psychedelia. Inspired by artists such as Khruangbin, Tame Impala and J Dilla, a unique sound is created between Hamburg and Istanbul. While bass - Lucas Kolbe and drums - Joshua Weiß create a grounded foundation, atmospheric guitars - Paul Linardatos, Niklas Werk and keys - Lennart Michael lay over it and form warm textures in which dreamy vocals - Mercan Demirkanli, b. elle are embedded.

M.E.I.N.E.R. means one thing above all: a synthesis of contradictions.

With their art, the five protagonists roam through warm and beautiful, as well as barren, cold and raw landscapes of modern music. On their journey through these biotopes, listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the world of nostalgic sounds of a pink-purple utopia, but also the icy coldness of fast and haunting sounds, as well as raw improvisation.
