Matthias Pürner, who was born in Chiemgau and lives in Munich, knows how to put his instrument, the Styrian harmonica, in a new light time and time again: from classical works to pop music, from Alpine folk music to modern original compositions, he is constantly exploring the boundaries of the "Ziach" in new ways.

He is joined by multi-instrumentalist, brass specialist and musical jack-of-all-trades Johannes Bär from Andelsbuch in Austria. He is known from the dialect pop formation HMBC with their hit "Vo Mello bis ge Schoppornou", but also as a member of numerous renowned international jazz formations.

The two are connected not only by their pronounced musical curiosity and love of experimentation, but also by their firm roots in traditional Alpine folk music. Their joint concert program is correspondingly varied and entertaining. With the help of two loop stations and various effects devices, small musical thoughts - often no more than fragments - are recorded live in front of an audience and played back immediately. Unashamedly light folk music slips in between modern excursions. Sometimes old, traditional melodies appear, sometimes slightly "pixnerian" original compositions are heard - the main thing is that it's fun!
