Germany in crisis mode: high prices, wars, climate change, political radicalization. Millions react with anger or withdraw. Powerlessness is a mass phenomenon - many have the impression that there is nothing they can do. This book analyzes the reactions in society: who fights, who flees, who freezes - and why this determines the future of our democracy. Based on new data and vivid case histories, it explains mechanisms and shows how we can become active again and take action.
