Gabriel Austin

Singer/songwriter Gabriel Austin tells stories in his songs that are close to life and resonate in his music. With musical influences from bands such as Modern Baseball and Pinegrove, Gabriel's songs are famously written for indie rock formations. However, on this evening Gabriel compresses his multi-layered soundscapes into the acoustic sounds of his guitar and vocals. His songs are about longing, sleepless nights and growing up. Gabriel is currently working on the production and release of new songs and is keen to experiment with new genres such as lofi, synth pop and surf punk. He also plays lead guitar in the German pop band "Barnabas" and is part of the collective "Sonne, Creme und Salz" and the editorial team of the photography magazine "Ausschussware Magazin".

Mara

"I'm Mareike, singer and globetrotter from Mönchengladbach, who has made her home in Cologne since 2019. My love of music and singing has been with me my whole life - singing is a constant passion for me. Since 2020, I have been writing and singing my own German-language songs as Mara and accompanying myself on the guitar. My music is a kind of soulful German pop. In my songs I pick up on situations from my life, love and everything in between. My music is like me: emotional, heartfelt, real."
