"European Jazz Meeting" is the name of the transnational project in which four kindred spirits from all over Europe have come together. The protagonists come from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Holland and are among the most renowned personalities on the European jazz scene. Together they share a preference for a stable groove, an unshakeable swing, strong melodies and finely turned harmonies - all in the tradition of the swing, bebop and hard bop era. This musical credo is also at the heart of their independent, aesthetically flawless sound, into which they incorporate different stylistic influences and rhythms in varied and harmonious original compositions. They interpret both swing and Latin numbers with a lot of verve and soul, creating a very special, engaging and resonant sound.
