It is considered one of the most outstanding debut albums of the 2000s: With "A Certain Trigger", Maxïmo Park stirred up the British music scene like hardly any other band. The mix of unadulterated punk attitude, irresistible pop melodies, the distinctive accent and, above all, a great deal of energy made the album an instant classic. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the album and the accompanying tour in spring was like a triumphal procession through the German club scene. A reminiscing mid-thirties crowd celebrated every single song on the "A Certain Trigger" album and Maxïmo Park were in top form. Now the quintet is coming back for a few extra shows and you'll get another chance to hear this extraordinary album live. Indie revival on the Campuswiese with songs from "A Certain Trigger", plus the greatest hits and fan favorites from two decades of band history - it can only be good!
