In the organizer's words:

Maxi takes preschool children on a cinema adventure: four to five short films, embedded in an interactive program, let them experience the cinema as a place, teach them exciting things about the history of film and the stories on the big screen - it's simply fun! And five times in 2026: in March, June, September, November and December. All films are part of a cinema trip on which budding film fans can discover the world of cinema and short films.

By the way: all the short films have already been shown at short film festivals for kindergarten children. Some have even won a prize at the KUKI - Young Short Film Festival Berlin, the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen or the Mo&Friese - Young Short Film Festival Hamburg!

Anyone who goes on the cinema trip with Maxi will receive a certificate after three visits, certifying them as a cinema expert. The program takes place on Sunday mornings and lasts one hour. Of course, "the grown-ups" can also come to the movies!

The movie theater is open before Maxi's cinema adventure.
