EIHT stands for westcoast hip hop, gangsta rap and especially Compton. He is one of those who significantly influenced rap on the West Coast in the 90s.

MC EIHT is a true legend from the hood. The West Coast veteran was born and raised in Compton, where he still lives today. He began his solo musical career in the early 1990s and has since collaborated with artists including Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Gang Starr, Cypress Hill, 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. He also starred in the hip-hop classic "Menace II Society."

Eiht's discography includes well over 10 solo albums, the most recent of which, "Which Way Iz West," was a 2017 collaboration with Brenk Sinatra and DJ Premier. The record perfectly reflects the Californian lifestyle of sun, car culture and gangsta lifestyle. On Wed. 06.12.2023 MC EIHT now comes LIVE to Dortmund for the first time.
