A conversation at the exhibitionwith award winner Mahshid Mahboubifar and curator Katrin Klietsch. Followed by an exploration of locations in the city connected to the artwork.

Mahshid Mahboubifar works in a reflective manner, developing a narrative, poetic visual language. Her artistic practice is characterized by sensitive explorations of individual and collective narratives, memories, and identities. Through video, photography, and performance, she reflects on her subjective perception and her connection to her immediate surroundings, while exploring the processes of producing and preserving memories. She develops her artistically reworked reconstructions of reality based on research drawn from interviews and archival material.

In the exhibition “Bilderkosmos #3. Leipzig in Dialogue” on the third floor
, the painting *Die Iranerin M. M. (vor * *1974)* by Inge Wunderlich is on display. In interviews with friends of the portrayed M. M., Mahboubifar found points of reference that she reflects upon and further develops in her video work *ich muss los*(see promotional image).
