This program brings together two composers who saw nature not just as a backdrop, but as a spiritual resonance chamber. Antonín Dvořák's Concert Overture opens a wide, breathing panorama of sound - a musical declaration of the beauty and serenity of the Bohemian landscape, which is deepened in the lyrical Waldesruhe and the lively Rondo. Ludwig van Beethoven's Pastorale takes the idea of the musical depiction of nature to its classical climax. Here, the murmur of the brook, the chirping of birds, the thunderstorm and the peaceful return of the sun are transformed into music - as an expression of a deep spiritual connection with nature.
