Singing among trees, on riverbanks and on mountain heights: The forest - a symbol of freedom, home and originality - has always been a central sound space and place of inspiration for
men's singing. Choral movements about nature, hunting and the seasons reflect the deep connection with a world in which singing was still part of the natural rhythm. The male choral tradition not only tells of musical community, but also of a cultural relationship with nature that seems more relevant than ever today. The program takes you on a journey from German Romanticism to Hungary and the Basque Country, embedded in the special sound of a horn quartet!
The monastery is not barrier-free.
Open-air concert, in case of rain the event will take place in the monastery church.
