Water games, the experience of nature and the joy of the forest characterize this programme, in which Fabian Müller, winner of the International ARD Music Competition among others, sets the musical mood for the famous "Trout Quintet" with his piano pieces on the theme of water. In the atmospheric Michaelstein Monastery, surrounded by fish ponds and streams, the program relates directly to the surrounding landscape. Franz Schubert's "Trout Quintet" leads directly into the heart of nature, where trees rustle, water ripples and the music drifts through the clearings like a bird call.
