Mein Herz dein Bunker – 290 BPM

Berlin in the 90s: the ruins of a former GDR slaughterhouse in Friedrichshain had been home to one of Berlin's most legendary clubs since shortly after the fall of the Wall - the legendary Wursthof. Occupied by young people seeking freedom, it was transferred to a place characterized by the pulsating beats of electronic music and dazzling personalities who celebrated their lives on the dance floors. Within these gray walls of concrete, everything seemed perfect - its own universe of harmonious noise. The young Sascha is part of a group of friends who celebrate together in the Wursthof into the 1st of May 1993, unaware of the impact this night will have on their lives. For this production we are looking for players between 15 and 22 years of age who want to tell a political coming-of-age story in the club capital Berlin and who want to talk about reunification, love, identity, emancipation and friendship together on stage to world-class techno.
