The Sound of the Seventies

Meiselgeier? You have to have heard and seen them, only then do you know what's behind them! A band from Wendland that has been celebrating rock music from the 1970s for over 50 years.

It all began in 1972. With music by Carlos Santana and many other rock greats of the time. Electrified with bass and guitar, indispensable drums, congas and a Hammond organ weighing over 200 kilograms, which has to be laboriously hoisted onto the stage for every performance, the band creates the right sound to remind us of how truly the crowds of music enthusiasts were made to bubble at that time.

The band Meiselgeier - a relic of a bygone era? Far from it, because Meiselgeier have enjoyed cult status for years! What cover band today can convey the decade of the 1970s as convincingly and authentically as the Meiselgeier Band has been doing since 1972, letting us celebrate without ceasing as if there were no day after tomorrow?

Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Deep Purple are of course also worth mentioning. It is the 'Who's Who' of rock music of the time, presented by Meiselgeier in a first-class musical manner.
