"The theater is the best place in the world. At least for me. I think the theater is totally underestimated. And if we're not careful now, it will be gone. The great thing is that theater can be anywhere. You need a few lights, a few people on stage and a few people sitting in front of it. And that's where you come in! So completely analog and real. I know that sounds outdated, but it wasn't all bad back then.
This evening will be a mixture of stand-up and songs, covering a wide range of social issues. I'll even explain the theory of relativity to you, but you won't even notice because the music is swinging. And with the painkiller rap, you'll get by without any painkillers at all. I promise!
Accompanied by my wonderful band, I'll be singing this song recital in the best place in the world: the theater. We look forward to seeing you, Melanie Haupt."
