MEMES MACHEN mit den Schnellhefter*innen
Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.
In the organizer's words:
What happens when you take internet culture out of the feed and come together around a table to explore it further?
As part of Manifesta+, Baze and the Schnellhefter*innen collective invite you to an open workshop series at SÖZ Dortmund. Together, we’ll explore memes as a contemporary form of visual communication: somewhere between humor, satire, political commentary, everyday observations, and digital collage.
We’ll gather topics, share our favorite formats, and develop initial ideas. This process will spark conversations as well as create images. To kick things off, there’ll be a little extra: “Drinks for Memes.”
We don’t have a set program; instead, we’ll follow your interests. Content will be created collaboratively, experimentally, and with plenty of room for different perspectives.

The workshop is open to anyone interested aged 14 and up. No prior experience is needed—all you need is a smartphone.
We look forward to welcoming people who are eager to observe, discuss, create, and maybe even have a little laugh about the internet together.
