Metal Haze

With Metal Haze, we’re bringing a dedicated stoner and doom event to Kaiserslautern for the first time—the desert is coming to Lautern. Mariner from Mainz, who were supposed to open the show, unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute due to illness. We wish them a speedy recovery! Shaytan from Saarlouis will instead play a longer set to kick things off, performing traditional doom metal in the spirit of Black Sabbath, Pentagram, and Candlemass, refined with Middle Eastern influences that give their sound a unique, dark edge. Mojo Blizzard from Rheinmünster will close out the show, delivering a worthy finale with their explosive mix of ’70s Priest, ’70s Sabbath, and ’90s Kyuss, along with influences from Candlemass and Iron Maiden.
