With the release of her critically acclaimed debut album 'Heaven Knows' in 2022, Mica Millar has quickly emerged as one of the brightest new stars in British soul music. She received the prestigious 'Soul Act of The Year 2022' award from Jazz FM as well as a nomination for 'Breakthrough Act of The Year' and became a member of the Recording Academy (2023), making her eligible for the Grammy Award for future releases.

Internationally, Mica performed on the stages of Jasmine in Warsaw and Tallinn Music Week in Estonia in early 2023 and is regularly played on the radio in the Netherlands, France and Germany, including Jazz Radio (France), NPO Soul & Jazz (Netherlands), WDR, DeutschlandFunk Kultur, Radio Eins (Germany) and many others.
Her first performance in Germany took place at the sold-out Leverkusen Jazz Days and was broadcast on WDR television, followed by a sold-out headline show at the iconic Konzerthaus Dortmund and a live performance on Radio Eins at Bikini Berlin in November 2023.

Micah's debut album "Heaven Knows" was mastered, self-written, arranged and produced at the famous Abbey Road Studios. It explores themes of human nature, spirituality, love, oppression, inequality and empowerment, drawing inspiration from a wealth of old soundscapes, particularly soul, blues, gospel and jazz.
